There are so many branching paths and looping corridors-many of which lead to at least something of value on your journey (e.g. So it's odd that, for all the comments I've read regarding people feeling lost/ confused as to where to go in this game.

I'm always lost, either simply not knowing where to go or, if I find myself privy to that information, not really knowing *how* to get there. For those who complain about the game's length, I just simply cannot relate: I genuinely felt sad when approaching Hollow Knight's endgame, knowing there'd be nothing left to explore (aside from Godmaster-as much as I appreciate the time and effort it took Team Cherry to create that free bit of DLC, there is no way in hell I'm gonna make it through that gauntlet lol). acquiring charms, tackling offshoot mini-bosses, stumbling upon peculiar NPCs). The game consistently surprised me, whether by the sheer number of locations in the game, the shockingly varied amount of enemies, or just simply the quantity of things to do (e.g. The game just hit all the right notes for me-art, music, gameplay, discovery, challenge-and I honestly loved every minute of it (give or take a few moments of backtracking P). As you can probably guess from my avatar, I absolutely adore Hollow Knight.
